Welcome, to the Google Experiment!
Since I am an Android device user, and given Google's diverse offerings, I decided to challenge myself. My objective is to use exclusively apps and operating systems designed by Google. For a week.
This means that for a week, I aim not to use any Apple or Microsoft software, except at work.
As this is the first post of the Google Experiment, I am using Google Docs to write it. Instead of using One Drive, I will use Google Drive for storage purposes.
My browser of choice is already Chrome so this will be the easiest part of the challenge. Where it will be trickier is the part of forgoing Windows and OS X in favor of Chrome OS.
Tomorrow I will address the installation and configuration of Chrome OS on a pc using a bootable USB key.
I am excited about the next week and writing about the hurdles in the road ahead.
There is no concrete objective to this tryout other than to explore a product that is emerging.
